Sadie Stats and First Video

Sadie had her last Dr's appointment on Thursday. While she was there she got her dreaded 2 week shot and a baby wellness check up. The Dr said she is looking great. Her new stats for this week include...

Length: 20 1/4 (50%)
Weight: 7 lbs 6 oz (25%)
Head Size: 14 (50%)

As for me... I am hanging in there. Mamaw left on Saturday so it is just Chad and I now. Today is my first day all alone and so far so good. We had a good night last night (unlike the night before). I just have to remember to take it one day at a time. All in all, Sadie is a wonderful baby.

First Dr's Appointment

Sadie had her first Dr's appointment on Friday. She did great. Here are her stats...

Length: 19 in. (25-50%)
Weight 7 lbs (25-50%)
Head Size: 13 cm (25%)

She has been such a blessing since she has been here! It is hard to believe she is already 1 week old! Pretty soon she'll be 1 month then 1 year then.... time flies!

I think my mom and I are going to do a 'photo shoot' this weekend so we can send out announcements. I'll be sure and post those pictures as soon as we take them. Here are a few pictures to tide you over until then...

I'm being induced on Friday morning at 6 AM! I can't eat after midnight on Thursday... I'm not sure how well that is going to go over! I can't imagine being famished and in labor at the same time!!

Here is a tummy post at 39 weeks. Today is my next Dr's appointment at 1:15. Hopefully we will be able to schedule my induction for Friday. We can't wait!



Just to show how ready we are... today my mom and I decorated our Dollar Tree garbage can to match Sadie's room.

One week to go... max!

I went to the Dr. yesterday (Friday) and she said I was about 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. She also mentioned that if I have not had her by my next appointment on Tuesday then we would schedule an induction for Friday. Whoo hoo!

Chad and I are really excited for her to get here. If we are making predictions... I am guessing that she will come on August 4th and have lots of dark hair like me. (I'm not sure how those Knips' will like a dark haired baby but I'm sure they'll get over it!)

My bags are packed and ready to go! I can't think of anything else that has to be done before she gets here. Right now I am just trying to sleep as much as possible since I know that will be a limited luxury once Sadie is here...!
